    Yeah! I did see Bellatrix!
I remember her in the forest scene with Voldemort. She had a surprisingly serious look and she was standing right next to Voldemort.
Also she's in Malfoy Manor teasing Harry, Ron and Hermione who are thrown on the floor.

Do you remember anything that she said while teasing them?

I think it was Kreacher the house-elf I saw. But it could have been Dobby. But I think it was a scene in some dark streets or something like that and I don't remember that in the book. Anyway I may be wrong. :S

No Dementors but I saw Thestrals in the 7 Potters scene and the huge dragon in Gringotts.

I think they are going to show Kreacher get Mundungus. It is unclear whether or not the trio will help with that or if Kreacher will just do it on his own.

I think there was Harry there. And maybe Ron. I don't remember I'm sorry.

But now that you're saying this..it seemed like those streets in HBP where the Trio ran after Draco. But it may be something different. It was brief but I remember the house-elf cause it was a cool shot.

Sounds good. That is a possibility. I wouldn't mind that change: either showing it or having the trio involved.

We already know they are having other scenes that are off screen like Hermione modifying her parents memories and leaving home.

Can you describe the battle? You said that a tower was falling down and the quidditch stadium was on fire and the castle.. But which part of the castle exactly was falling down and on fire? And did you saw scenes where it was snowing? Like the trio camping in the snow or anything like that? Because I read an article the other day that said David Heyman wants to eleminate all scenes that happen in the winter...

I don't remember the tower. A part of it was falling down, not the entire building. There were no other towers around. It was a shot from below. It was amazing. :D

There was this epic shot of a Hogwarts tower next to a big bridge in flames or something like that but this had lots of unfinished CGI but it was great. It'll be even better when the CGI will be completed I'm sure.

And the Quidditch Stadium on fire of course! It was a bird's POV panoramic shot of the pitch in flames and the forests were partly on fire and the mountains around were surrounded by Dementors or Death Eaters.

Bad all that lasted like 5-10 seconds. But they were some of the most memorable moments so I guess the battle will be phenomenal.

There was lots of snow in Godric's Hollow and there was another panoramic shot of snowy mountains. Why would they want to eliminate all winter scenes? I didn't see any camping in the snow. A scene that reminded me of LotR was one where the Trio was walking in seemingly endless marshes. That was eerie.

Do you know if the marshes look like the marshes of death like in the Lord of the Rings?

Did you you saw any scene with the clock tower?

Did you saw a scene with goblins?

Did you saw a scene of the silver doe?

Did you saw scenes at the Burrow except of the weding??
  2.
    great newS!!!!!

    What about performances?
Is the trio truely giving their best??
  3.
No worries about not being able to remember the Bellatrix dialogue mjr9.

By chance can you tell us how you managed to attend Showest? i.e. Do you work for a magazine, website, own a theater, or are in some other avenue of the film industry/film marketing?

I don't remember how exactly the marshes in LotR were but that shot in the DH footage gave me that creepy feel.

Clock Tower? I don't think so. The only scenes I clearly remember were one shot from below that showed a part of a tower falling down, a building on fire next to a gigantic bridge and the Quidditch Pitch on fire. There were two other brief shots of giants destroying some part of the castle and Death Eaters marching in forest clearings but that could be from somewhere else :S

    I don't remember any goblins I'm sorry.

No scene from the Silver Doe scene. And I was surprised because after the DH preview ended I was thinking about scenes like the Silver Doe or Snape's memories or the talk between Harry and Dumbledore or a scene with the Dursleys that didn't really make it in the trailer.

There was a scene with Harry and Ginny kissing. I may be completely wrong but I think they were wearing their dress robes for the wedding. But I don't remember that at all.
There was some sort of voiceover and a close-up of Lupin inside the Burrow house
and I remember a very cool shot of wet Harry, wand in hand, walking quickly in that cornfield. Quite claustrophobic and reminiscent of that weird attack scene in Half-Blood Prince. But maybe it was a scene from the camping traveling scenes.

Yeah! I was pleasantly surprised with the performances. Rupert Grint had this shining moment when he was arguing with Harry and Emma seemed really good as well. There was a scene with her in the rain where she looked completely distraught. And overall she seemed even better than before. But I was interested in Radcliffe's performance. He seems to have improved greatly. I'm not a fan of his acting to be honest with you. He seemed better.

And of course you forgot to answer how you managed to attend Showest..maybe because you didn't.

Hmmm why did you say "there were parts of giants destroying some parts of the castle" and when I asked you if you saw magical creatures you said "houses elfs, thestrals and dragons"... And when I asked you about the Battle of Hogwarts you never talked about the giants :S

    What's this dream's info?

Look I've read what other people have said about the footage shown in ShoWest and everything I've said have been confirmed by all these sources. Why should I lie?
Whatever, I don't like people being sarcastic to me. It was just 4-minute footage. I haven't seen the entire film for god's sake.

There was a moment with trolls or giants (CGI were terribly unfinished) seemingly attacking a place. I guess it must be the Hogwarts Battle since it looked like a part of the castle... what else could it be?

The only finished CGI included this house-elf (it could be a goblin but I doubt it), thestrals and a dragon. There was also a shot far away from the Quidditch stadium with black figures in the sky so that may have been Dementors.
    I can't remember anything I'm sorry.

i think Harry and Ginny might kiss during the wedding because there was a set report that said that Harry was somewhere else during some of the wedding and enters right before the patronus comes and says the ministry has fallen so that could probably be right.

I like what you say about the argument between Ron and Harry. I hope that is an intense moment because, for me, it really was in the book. Ron giving up. It sounds good. I like the idea of them using the weather to show their mood a little bit.

I am sorry, but everything this person is saying IS consistent with the other reports from the convention. I am not saying you have to believe him, but don't disbelieve him just because of the dream posts because what dream said has always been suspect.

    Why should you lie?
Believe me.I've been fooled many times in here and no one really was doing this for a specific reason.
I can explain why I THINK you're lying..but this still remains MY OPINION.

The dragon was pretty much finished. Not completely but nothing compared to that giant/troll shot which had extremely few CGI.(And it looked bad )

I thought that about Harry and Ginny's kiss. But I may be wrong.

    The argument seemed to be r e a l l y intense.
I dunno if that scene with Hermione in the rain takes place after Ron leaves. But yeah that would fit.

The cinematography was really good. I smell Oscar nods for both films. It was very rich and every scene felt different. Though it seemed a little bit too dark but it fits the tone so they may keep it that way.

Alan Horn just mentioned that the HP finale will be everything the world is anticipating for and that the CGI of the footage was unfinished in most scenes. He also said that that was not the score of the film and the cinematography will change drastically in some scenes. He concluded it was very rough footage.

That's a list of what I remember from the footage:

Malfoy Manor meeting where Voldemort, Snape and followers discuss Harry's capture
Scrimgeour talks about the dark times
Seven Potters at the Dursleys.Moody searches for the real one.
Two 7 Potters scenes: Order and Harry flying on brooms, thestrals etc. followed by a Death Eater & Hagrid and Harry chased by lots of DEs
Harry, wet, in a cornfield (Burrow?)
    Lupin talking at the Burrow
Harry and Ginny approach to kiss
    Wedding dance in the tent
People panic and exit the tent looking in horror around
Hermione in her red dress running in London
    Trio runs in London streets
    Hermione in Grimmauld Place
Harry shedding light in a destroyed room (Sirius' room?)
Ron and Harry stunning Mafalda Hopkirk in a London street
    Voldemort in a black tower
Snape in Dumbledore's Office over the floating Pensieve
Hermione over Ron's bleeding body in a forest
    Trio traveling in various places
    Ron and Harry argue
Hermione in the rain seemingly sad
    Harry over his parent's graves
Hermione looking at the sky over Godric's Hollow
    Death Eaters flying over forests
Kreacher or Dobby in shadowy streets (Diagon Alley?)
    Trio in vast marshes
    Xeno talking about Hallows
    Ron running in a forest
Trio in burnt camping site (similar to the GoF scene)
Snatchers chasing the Trio and shooting spells
Bellatrix taunts Ron and Hermione in Malfoy Manor
Death Eaters patrolling in a large entrance Hall (Malfoy Manor?)
Harry and Ollivander talking in Shell Cottage
Harry outside Shell Cottage looking at the sea
Trio protecting themselves from a furious dragon
Hermione on a broom escaping from fireballs and melting statues collapsing
Tower collapsing, hogwarts building on fire, giants attacking, Quidditch pitch on fire, Death Eaters march in forest clearings
Death Eaters with torches in dark woods
Harry and Voldemort confront in the forest.

    I think that's all I remember.

The Trailer won't just randomly pop up in front of Iron Man or Prince of Persia. It might show before one of those films but we'll hear about it (and most likely see it online) long before those movies come out. The lack of info concerning it playing before Iron Man makes me think the trailer will be attached to Prince of Persia (but that's purely just me speculating). I want it to show with Iron Man but that's just because I'm getting impatient LOL

    From WB marketing rep-

"Thank you for your interest in Potter. We have an aggressive marketing campaign that launches with Twilite, but have another feature we are promoting on Iron Man"
