Ok hi i'm new here this is a discussion that i started on the basis that hopefully someone would be able to answer or try to my following questions!
Now number 1 does anyone know if Voldemort ever wears a hood in this like in the books? or maybe his snake tongue back?
Do we get to see most if not all of Voldemorts journey, like seeing his thoughts through Harry?
Do we see Voldemort murdering any of the people like scrimgeour? gregorovich? grindelward? or do we just hear about them happening?
Anything about the Ron and Hermione Kiss?
And finally what type of changes have been made that i heard about happening to the chamber of secrets and the atrium in the ministry?
I will appreciate any information you may or may not give me, thank you
This is the info I remember according to Dream_Silently.
1. No, he's the same as in OOTP
2. We do get to see his journey, but don't know how much.
3. Murder of : Scrimgeour - Yes, Gregorovitch - Not Sure, Grindelwald - Not Sure. We see Voldemort kiling James and Lily Potter though.
4. R & H kiss set in Chamber of Secrets
5. COS will be wider and have a river type thing running down the middle. MOM will be darker and more grim with a new statue and different feel.
I must stress that this info comes from Dream_Silently and other forums that I remember.

Oh i almost forgot to ask about scrimgeour what does he look like (Characteristics)? i heard about something like them changing the look of the potters house in godrics hollow? does it blow up? and does voldemort fly without support over the sea and while trying to attack harry and hagrid? not just that stupid smoke thing in OOTP? thanks!
Any info about Malfoy manor like is the scene of The Dark Lord Ascending the first scene we will see in theatres? or something else? or not present at all? dont worry about it if you dont know, cheers either way!
Anything about Godrics Hollow like is it chilling and upsetting and is there a big window in Bathildas house for H & H to jump out of while LV just arrives or does that not even occur?
Apparently, they've reshot the whole scene of the flashback of Lily's murder, with a new house too, so there will be a lack of continuity.
Tom Moorcroft (?) who portrayed RAB in a photo in HBP said he thinks he might return for a flashback scene. So this might well be true because the voice of Kreacher has also been cast and is in the film. This info was some time ago though.

The Dark Lord Ascending has been mentioned at the ShoWest thing, so I assume it's in. There'll also be a scene with Scrimgeour giving a speech at the MOM as one of the opening shots.
I don't know about your other questions, sorry. That's all I can remember from what Dream said anyway. And other confirmations from SnitchSeeker, Mugglenet etc...
The only thing we know about the Ron/Hermione kiss is that most likely it takes place in the Chamber of Secrets because we know it happens when Harry is not present. Rupert said that the kiss ended up being quite sweet. Emma also mention that she pretty much pounced on him. Rupert also mentioned that they had to sort of look at each other lovingly. They both said that they saw the playbacks of it and it looked great. I think what they have said about it sounds good.
The dark lord ascending is going to be in in some form. Charity Burbage, the muggle studies professor who gets killed, is cast. There was also mentions from the people who were at the showest thing about seeing Voldemort, Snape, Bellatrix, and others sitting at a table at Malfoy Manor discussing how Harry was going to be moved and Voldemort insisting that he was to be the one to kill Harry. Also the guy that plays Lucius mentioned losing his wand, so that is in. There probably won't be quite as much dialogue as in the book, but the general plot points all seem to be in. We don't know for certain if this will be THE opening scene in the film though, but the scene seems to be in and i think it would make sense to open with it. They may open with a scene from the Ministry or flashes of past films. We just don't know exactly.
Godric's hollow. We don't know if there is a window that Harry and Hermione jump out of. I love that part in the book and hope it is in, but we just don't know. We know that the snake does attack Harry and he fights it off with a chair. That is about it. It is a little unclear how they will use the flashes that Harry has of Voldemort in his mind, but i would think that they will probably show that Voldemort is on the way. I think that the scene of Harry being attacked as a baby and James and Lilly being killed has been reshot, so it may be in there sometime in the film.
Thanks Guys, Do you know if Frank Dillane is back because if i remember rightly he said something about maybe coming back at a signing/convention, any confirmation? Oh and i'm sure this is what everyone wants to know but i'll ask anyway do you know if Nagini has a protective bubble around her? and does snape die in the shrieking shack? do we see any flashbacks of the prophecy or arienna being killed?
P.s i bet you anything Lucius is killed off because in a interview Jason said that he had suggested something different for himself and he was told that he no longer needs to come back or something like that anyway thanks again guys!
Oh and one final thing does anyone know if there giving a separate line of words on both DHs films like instead of just having HP at DH P1 and HP at DH P2 having something more interesting like HP at DH: The Horcrux Hunt and HP at DH: The Final Battle, you know what i mean?
I don't think that Frank Dillane is back as far as i know. I am not sure there is a need to show a young Voldemort again.
There has been rumor that Snape may die somewhere else then the shrieking shack, but there is not actually confirmation of any of that.
I actually don't think Lucius will be killed because the actor was surprised that he wouldn't be needed for a lot of scenes and if they had decided to kill him, i am not sure that he would have been surprised that he wasn't in some scenes. Unless he's an idiot which is possible.
They are putting DH Part 1 and DH Part 2. There isn't going to be another line.

Well i thought although its just a rumor that if he did return they could do more of the memorys that they should of done in HBP but i accept thats very unlikely.
I'm a bit annoyed about that lol typical Yates because if it is where its rumored (boathouse which we've never actually seen) that means we wont see the shrieking shack that we have actually seen previously but never mind. Plus Stuart Craig said that he cryed during the filming of the scene because he said that it was so tragic and emotional so i guess that makes up for it if it is true.
Yeah i hope not about Lucius' death because that will mean that once again there not using the book instead opting to use the script that is as usual different plus Lucius is an idiot your right he kept on making mistakes that cost LV dearly and we all know how angry LV is in this so i suppose its possible although i hope not.

There's also news of Emma Thompson's return of filming as Prof. Trelawney. She MIGHT have been filming the prophecy flashbacks, but she might not. She could have done the Battle scenes, as she was on only a couple of days.
I think Ariana has been cast, so there might be development on this aspect of Dumbledore's life. Not certain though.
If you think Frank Dillane may be back then what scene exactly would he be in? I guess they could show the scenes of Voldemort taking the horcruxes the cup and the diadem. I don't know though how that would fit in. We really just don't know anything about how they are going to use the flashes that Harry sees in Voldemort's mind.
Yeah i dont expect him to be back its just he said at a convention or signing that he may be called back for DH so i assumed if that was the case horcrux scenes and memorys can be the only type of scenes he could be in, although it does say hes been casted on harry potter wiki but i dont know how reliable that can be though i'm sure more than IMBD.

Yeah maybe and hopefully and yeah if he is back it will very likely be for flashes into his past which is good because i still dont think we saw enough of them in HBP! but somehow i still doubt it unfortunately.
Maybe whenever Harry gets hold of a particular Horcrux we could see a quick flashback of Tom planting it wherever he originally planted it or his reaction to whatever particular Horcrux being stolen and destroyed but your right that kind of stuff doesnt really fit in but then again remember we've got Yates directing so heres to hoping! and thats all i could really think about Frank being in any scenes.
I completely agree that i missed the memories from HBP and wish they could be included, but i am not sure if there will be time for that. It was sort of hard for HBP to cut things because the obvious cut was the Half-blood Prince storyline about the book and snape in the sixth film, but that being the name of the film sort of made it hard to cut. I am not sure if that was a good name for that book.
I know if it was my choice you cut the potions book stuff and add a defense against the dark arts class. I really liked the scenes with slughorn though, but if they hadn't had to worry about including snapes potions book i think the film could have been a better film.
I agree with everything you just said there haha, it was definately something that made the film not one of my favourites of this franchise and the book was one of my favorites 2nd only to DH and yeah there will probably be no time for that although if Yates and all the others agreed they could possibly with 2 parts make them both between 2.30 hours and 3 hours like the lord of the rings but i highly doubt that as well.
It would of been good if thet Alan Horn april fools joke about there being 3 parts wouldnt it? lol! and with the ultimate edition of HBP coming out at some point in the future theres more there but i heard theres only about 8 mins added in so thats unfortunate but once again heres to hoping!
Yeah i think they should have left in the flashes they filmed of Voldemort getting the horcruxes. This was something in the sneak peek that was taken out of the final cut of the film. A flash of the diadem in the room of requirements and Voldemort holding the cup when Harry touched the ring in Dumbledore's office. They should have left that in.
I think that we were told that they were filmed, but they have not been released. The people who saw the test screenings for HBP mentioned seeing these.
Are you sure test screeners saw those scenes? I remember reading that the decision to cut those memory scenes took place while they were adapting the book to screenplay. Don't get me wrong, I hope they did film them but I remember reading something different (not saying that what I was reading is 100% correct or trustworthy).
They didn't film the other memories that were cut. They did film a couple of flashes of those scenes. A flash of a hand holding the cup, a flash of Dumbledore putting on the ring, and i thought a flash of the diadem though i may be mistaken about the last one.
The entire scene was not filmed, but just quick flashes of the horcruxes that were included in the film when Harry touched the ring in Dumbledore's office after they finally saw Slughorn's true memory and realized that Voldemort had created horcruxes. I am assuming they cut it out because it gave too much away for further films and not enough explanation. They did leave the snake and Voldemort and then showed Harry do the neck twist which i love. Great foreshadowing. I wish they had left the flashes of the horcruxes in there.
Actually I think that HBP, had a pretty good adaptation from the book.
I remember that people used to say that the film will only involve romance, but it was handled pretty well.
I did not feel it was excesive, and the Horrorcrux storyline was also explained well enough.
And also, I am SURE that Deathly Hallows will be the franchise's best, and one of all time's best.
