There's been breaking news on tv that 10 people have been killed and many others hurt because someone was shooting in the theater. Some people thought it had something to do with the movie. They caught one guy and are looking for another. There hasn't been much said yet because they're still working on it but I'm sure the major news channels will have breaking news on it.

Okay I know this is gonna sound a bit crazy but I am pointing my finger at Alex Jones. This lunatic has stretched and skewed the meanings of this trilogy and talk about how this movie is, "brainwash material for the new world order." Idk Once I seen that video and seen some of the ridiculous comments I just knew nutjobs would believe in that baseless nonsense and go nuts on the interent. I know its early to point fingers, to put blame on a tragedy, however I do have my suspicions.

This is absolutely insane...the kind of people that would do this to people sitting in a theater just trying to enjoy a movie...theres really been nothing like this before...

It takes only a handfull of absolutely mindless apes to ruin everything for the rest of the populous...before you know it there will be metal detectors in theaters and they will have to frisk you due to security that could be caused by this and copycats in the future. Who knows. Its so utterly terrible...

Now they think there is only one gunman and I think they just said there in now 14 dead and 50 injured (the police are giving a press conference right now) They said there maybe explosives at the shooter's apartment, they're checking it out. What a terrible thing for these people to go through.

They just said that the guy dropped some kind of gas canister...it all started about 15 minutes into the movie.

The guy was supposedly dressed in costume...hope that doesn't end up making it so people can't dress up at midnight showings now.

Witnesses are saying that he walked to the front of the theater, dropped a gas canister then started shooting. I can't believe that people can have such disregard for other peoples lives.

This is so absolutely disturbing...just when you think its perfectly safe to go see a movie to enjoy with friends/family...I do hope one positive comes from this extremely negative incident, and that is for the most strict gun laws Obama can come up with. How many more shootings do we have to see that stem from this, or from school shootings, mass killings in public...I'm all for the right to bear arms but when it comes to innocent lives being lost...Its better to take away the right to obtain guns and have very few get through the cracks than to have them easily accessible and make for the opportune moment for some lunatic to take away innocent life and spill blood that should not be shed...

In a movie theater...just wow. I think this resonates with so many around the world and here, because who doesn't enjoy going to the movies?! Now theres an added level to it of fear that should not be there. According to the news, he was in a long coat and what looked like a gas mask...I think its safe to say he was mimicking Bane's look...Idk its still early to confirm, we only know the tip of the iceberg so far...

Warner Bros. has canceled Friday’s The Dark Knight Rises premiere in Paris and all interviews with the movie’s stars in the wake of the stunning tragedy early this morning in Aurora, Colorado, when a gunman walked into a theater showing the film and killed at least 12 people.

The studio released the following statement: “Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time.”

A 24-year-old man named James Holmes is in custody after he reportedly entered the theater and opened fire shortly after midnight.

President Obama is expected to address the tragedy at 11:20 a.m. Eastern.

Damn. This is so messed up. I have no idea what is happening with man kind. This makes me so afraid. Something like that happened over here too, in 1999, during a showing of Fight Club.
