Disney W.i.R. Help me understanding...

It seems to me that in this trailer we see many of our fav childhood cartoons get a new shot at stardom and develop character shape. This makes me wonder, what character rights is Disney working with and who did they leave out that should have been in the top five of characters we would have liked to have screen-via-sliver-screen?
Me for one, knowing Disney owns the rights to Sega, I would like to have seen Ecco the Dolphin.
