Just because a film seems big and important does not mean its pretentious. Yeah, every film like that TRIES to be big and important, but here it seems the story really requires it. Sure, I don't know whether it will succeed, but just because a movie has a trailer loaded with a bunch of awesome stuff doesn't mean it's pretentious.

The reviews are odd, Some people are calling the most emotional, grand attempt since Avatar and others say it was too long to care about. At any rate for an open minded person such as myself I think I'll absolutely love it.
