This is where you post about yourself and why you're here, how happy you are to be a member, all that stuff. ;-)

New users here are welcome to post anywhere they want, but you can't *start* a discussion until you've been posting good stuff for a while. O:)

All the senior guys/girls have been around for a while so they'll help you out if you need it.

    Hi! My name is Sam. I'm an electrical engineer.

    I've been a HP fan for over half my life (started when I was 10 when the books first came out).

    I can't wait to see DH: Part 1! Glad to be here on this forum as well!

    hello im traffi, been around for about 2 weeks , gotten to know a lot of people via the chatrooms, they know me more by " lyanisagirl" XD

    i originally came to the forums to talk dh, cuz i saw the test screening and just wanted to chat about it ^^ ive read all the books and seen all the movies >=D

    anyways it good to finally be able to post stuff !!

    btw im re-watching dh later this evening at a premiere whee i live ^^

    Hey I'm (quite creatively, as you will see) Vince, and I've been lurking for some time now and particularly with the quickly approaching release of DH part one, I was tempted to take part in some very interested conversations and discuss everything that's been on my mind with possibly the only people who'll understand. xD

    I've been a fan of HP since I was about eight, near the release of the first book, and I've read the books and watched the films numerous times. It's probably the most important influence in my life so, naturally, it's nice to be on a site whose members are so dedicated to it. I also can't wait to see DH. :)

    My name's Jeff, I've been checking in on this board for about a year or so. I actually didn't became an Harry Potter fan until the first movie came out, I was around 12 at the time. Before seeing the film, I had owned the first book but never opened it because I hated to read. After seeing commercials for the movie, I though it looked kind of dumb.... long story short, I went to see the movie because my aunt wanted to take me to a noon showing on opening day (which means I was able to skip school, so of course I wanted to go). I LOVED the movie and the minute I got home I read the entire first book (yes i have read them all, even went to the midnight release parties since then) and I have been addicted since lol.

    I'm obsessed with Harry Potter and it's hard for me to find people that are the same way. I try to have conversations with my friends and family about Harry Potter but they don't know much so it's almost a waste.

    Besides Harry Potter... I'm a senior at Eastern Michigan University majoring in Marketing. I'm also a huge Disney fan (which is where my dream job is.) I'm also 22 :-p

    I'm very excited to see Deathly Hallows!! Sadly I can't go to the midnight showing, but I already have my IMAX tickets for 5pm on Friday :)

    I might be the oldest member (65). I'm not obsessed with Harry Potter, but I'm a big fan of the books, and to a lesser extent, the movies. I started reading shortly after book four came out. I read all four within two weeks. I now have all the books read by Jim Dale. It's my favorite form of the story. It was the first thing I put on an iPod. When Deathly hallows came out, I bought the CDs first. My wife and I put everything on hold and listened straight through.

    Hogwarts reminds me of my high school (private, with about half the students boarding). Snape was my chemistry teacher. I had several other Hogwarts teachers. It's a bit like remembering. Of all the elements of the series, I find the description of school goings on to be the most accurate and remarkable.

    Hello! I'm 16 and I'm currently a Junior in High School. I have been a lurker of this forum for a while and I'm really glad that I have been accepted. I've primarily been a fan of Harry Potter since the release of the first movie in 2001. SS/PS had essentially unleashed my obsession over both the Harry Potter franchise and book series. I currently cannot wait for the release of HP7 Part 1 this friday and I'm planning to see it at midnight. I'm expecting many many records to be broken and the damnation of what is Twilight :).

    Woah, just had been aproved for HPF! So Glad, but so... My name is Jefferson and I am 17, and I am very happy that Deathly Hallows is finally coming out! And of course sad that it is 'ending' in some way.

    Well, I think it has been a long time I asked to join here, and I really forgot 'exactly' I wanted, but I still like this forum, even not a member I was always here sneaking. :)

    Hi my name is John Rivet but I usally go by the name Johnnystorm because that's the name I use when I dj and make my music so just called me Johnnystorm or John whatever i dont really care lol. And I love harry potter its awsome my favourite charcter from the series would have to be Lord Voldermort dont know why just always though he kicked ass and was awsome. If I could marry someone from Potter it would be Ginny Weasley or Luna Lovegood dont know why but I kinda have a crush on Ginny well atleast Bonnie wright anyway lol and yeah I love making music and djing anymore you want on me just ask.

    Hi everyone!

    I'm Ian from the Philippines, after months of lurking i can now finally post here :)

    I just saw Deathly Hallows today! It's now sinking in that there is one movie left before the movie series ends. T_T (but the harry potter fandom will never end!) I'll watch it again tomorrow and on the next day, and the next day, and the next day... :D
