IIRC , isn't there a scene where the students of Hogwarts are behind some kind of barred gate and Filch is walking away when suddenly it blasts open ? Well, could that not be the " boom " McGonagall is referring to ? She is with Neville after all , no one is exactly running for their lives at that moment , and it would fit well within the context of a lighter scene.

Lets not put the cart before the thestral just yet !

Nobody in the test screening mentioned it but it was featured in a tv spot recently.

Another test screener remembers it :

Do we see much of Filtch, Slughorn, and Pomfrey? Filch has some funny scenes. We see Slughorn and Pomfrey a little at different moments.

And maybe, and this is pure speculation , it is because of this :

Neville was really Bad-*** and says the line, "I've always wanted to use that spell!"

So , perhaps McGonagall tells him of a spell , he asks what it will do, she says ' boom " ,he says " wicked " and then uses the spell . Hence, the above quote.

I think we've seen most of the humorous lines that were talked about in the test screening already in these tv spots. I really doubt the battle is going to be full of them. Maybe 1 or 2 more moments that I can think of that were seen in the test screening. Im sure the right tone will be there for the battle.

I wish I knew where Harry is in that first shot of him....and it's the same place when a swhoosh of light hits Harry. Anyone got ideas on that?
