I may come across some raging Nazi but Im not actually a Nazi xD Im just a History student and very interested in the Third Reich but I am reading Schindler's Ark at the moment and it is very interesting, I've seen the film and the book adds so much more depth (I know the book was prior to the film) It's very moving but I'd reccomend it
I absolutely loved this book. The author (it's his first book) ties in the story with old photographs he found. Just the photographs alone make this book worth buying. Anyway, the story isn't what you think it is by reading the title. Yes, it's about peculiar children but the story behind it is much more than that. I strongly recommend you look this book up. If it's your cup of tea (something you can see yourself reading) than you should definitely get it!
The God Delusion - This is an outstanding book for those who want to know how atheists think. It covers everything from evolution to considering indoctrinating children equivalent to child abuse. The author, Richard Dawkins, does an amazing job delivering arguments against the existence of God, even going os far as saying that if you believe with 100% certainty that God does not exist, such a claim requires just as much faith as saying that there is 100% probability of God existing. My favorite chapter is titled "What's Wrong With Religion? Why Be So Hostile?' It';s quite amazing, the answer to it. I recommend this book if you're an atheist, and even more so if you're not.

So Crucify the ego, before it's far too late, to leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical. And you will come to find that we are all one mind, capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable.
It begins really interesting, but it's a shame that the story loose its strenght until the end. Although, the Epilogue was enough to keep my interest in the series. I'm probably reading the second one.
Harry must find and destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes, which are well-hidden and well-defended, but he struggles with the fact that Dumbledore’s instructions are extremely cryptic, and rumors about Dumbledore undermine Harry’s confidence in him. :x
I'm reading Tess of the D'Urbervilles in English :| If you haven't read it, it's basically a whiny bitch being depressed for 300 pages... ;)
Sounds boring, lol.
It is not true that people stop pursuing dreams because they grow old, they grow old because they stop pursuing dreams.
I'm getting The Stand in couple days and will begin reading that 1000+ page monster of a book. I want to read it because
1. its stephen king 2. I want to read it before the movie comes out
I wish Yates would've kept his hands on it, but Afleck has proven to be a very good director so far, so I'm far from disappointed. Just read a quick synopsis and looks so badass, can't wait to start.
We just finished To Kill A Mockingbird in English a couple weeks ago. When we started reading I thought "How is this a classic?" But I got into it and it's one of the best pieces of literature in history. The overall messages in the book about racism, etc. are so good. Atticus, personally, will go down as one of my favorite characters in a book. He's so wise.
Just finished reading The Maze Runner, first book from The Maze Runner Trilogy. Brilliant book. Not one single part of this book was boring, it just kept delivering and delivering on all levels. I never knew what to expect on the next page and I just loved that. I highly reccommend this to anyone who hasn't read the book. I think you'd all enjoy it very much. Does not disappoint.

I have to give it a 10/10.
Amen, buddy! Amen!
Maze Runner is definitely my favorite series after Potter! Everybody should give it a shot :D
Lockdown: Escape from Furnace by Alexander Gordon Smith
The character development may not be great, but there are so many thrilling moments in the book that it turns into an unforgettable experience. In a time where most of YA novels are narrated from a whining girl point of view and they get worried about men, romance and shit like that, Lockdown is really feels fresh. It's a provocative, controversial, thrilling, sick and page turning book. A mix of The Maze Runner, Prison Break and The Lord of the Flies. For you to have an idea guys, I decided to read the book slowly because I just didn't want it to be finished. Can't wait to read the second one.
I just finished reading Divergent by Veronica Roth:
In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue—Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is—she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles to determine who her friends really are—and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.
I really recommend this book to you guys. It is a really awesome dystopian book that has a romance going on it it, but that isn't the main part of the book...Which I really liked. And I am definitely buying the second one :D
Hate List by Jennifer Brown The synopsis itself is already really shocking. And after reading it, I had to buy the book.
Five months ago, Valerie Leftman's boyfriend, Nick, opened fire on their school cafeteria. Shot trying to stop him, Valerie inadvertently saved the life of a classmate, but was implicated in the shootings because of the list she helped create. A list of people and things she and Nick hated. The list he used to pick his targets. Now, after a summer of seclusion, Val is forced to confront her guilt as she returns to school to complete her senior year. Haunted by the memory of the boyfriend she still loves and navigating rocky relationships with her family, former friends and the girl whose life she saved, Val must come to grips with the tragedy that took place and her role in it, in order to make amends and move on with her life.
One of the deepest, moving, controversial and shocking readings that I ever had. A disturbing, yet beautiful, portray of bullying and the relationship between teenagers. It feels real and natural. A moving story that EVERYBODY should experience.
Well I finally got through it and as an ending for the Inhertance Cycle I thought it was overall good. It was entertaining and exciting enough. My main complaint is that the book had way too much pointless filler though.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
I absolutely loved it! The first 150 pages or so was a lot of exposition, but then the book quickly becomes very interesting and gripping. I literally stayed up all night reading most of it lol. Definitely one of my new favorites :)
I'm starting Perks of Being a Wallflower soon and then I'm gonna read the 2 sequels to TGWTDT. I'm reading more this month than I have in a few years and I love it lol
This took me like a day to read lol but it's sooooo good. It's way more than any kind of cliche teen book. It has a ton of heart and great themes and it's just absolutely amazing and yeah.
I must say, after reading the book, I am not impressed with the trailer. It looks like they took a really special book and made it into a typical ~awkward~ freshman meeting totallycoolandquirky!friends. It just looks cliche and like the heart was sucked out of it. I just hope the movie doesn't end up being this way.

A great book with a nice array of fabulous short stories. Each is laced with a bit of the Dahl magical touch!
