Yes because in this politically correct age we would have a split nation, and send off two young from each sector to battle to the death lmao because that is realistic :P bahahaha
Awesome Abhi! Hope you enjoy it bud. Did you buy the entire series? (like i told Adri, definitely keep me updated on what you think and maybe even post to the dark tower thread :P )
Actually Ry, I don't see anything unrealistic about the THG. Granted it would need to be a good time into the future with the arena technology, but I would never, ever put anything past totalitarian governments.
I just had a hard time getting through it. It did kind of drag in places for me and I was so saddened by what happened to Peeta. And I didn't like Katniss much either. I also have the flu and am battling that, so I read the book while I'm sick, and I'm sure I just skimmed over some parts LOL. I do plan on reading it again later on when I'm better and maybe it'll feel different. I enjoyed Catching Fire so much more on the second read, so we'll see.
Bahaha I think so, this one i think: http://harrypotterforum.com/discussion/4784/the-hunger-games/p46 look at my post on that page haha, awesome melyssa! there are more, If you like them :D
I'm so excited because neither me or my hubby have any musical talent at all LOL, but he's picked up the cello so well. He had a few notes of Harry Potter theme figured out on his own, then asked for sheet music, so I'm thrilled that it's something that he's getting into :D
My sons Xrays are being sent to Radiology today, because the there is a dark spot on the xray and the doctor is not sure if it's just fluid build up in his arm because of bruising or something else. So now we're waiting on Radiology *sigh*
Still praying his arm's not broken.
