aaronLOL, well 13 episodes is never a good idea, S1 and S5 of Chuck both had 13 episodes and they were the worst seasons. Also, when they got new writers for S4 was when the show started going downhill. -_- I'd say it's quite doomed, just cancel the show's plans and let it die on a happy note. -

I don't comment for the likes, I don't a give a piece of shit, let Tim take away all my likes, irdc, tell him to do so, because I'm not here for the likes, I'm here to discuss and give input, even if I throw fuck or shit or tits or spiderman memes or whatever. That's probably the longest run-on sentence I've seen in a while, but I don't care. I wouldn't like my own posts even if I could. I don't care who's first or who has most, it's an online Harry Potter forum for petes sake, lmfao. I don't gain satisfaction from knowing I have the most stuff liked, I don't care, maybe it's the most times people smiled reading my comments? Who knows why I got 150 likes overnight, and honestly, who cares? I didn't like them myself and that's that. There's nothing more to discuss. Unless someone secretly wants to get in my ass (Ry) and has been liking everything to possibly get a sexual favor out of me (which would totally work) then maybe, but other than that, I have no idea and I really couldn't give a single fuck.

AbhiWe should ask Tim to do away with the liking feature I guess. I mean I KNOW that the top names in the all time points table are awesome people who give mind blasting comments almost all the time, and how much I like reading them or going through them. Why should you guys ( I am addressing the points leaders) need a stamp of approval and a trivial number to objectively justify that you are awesome? You guys ARE, and we know that. End of story. If anything, the likes should be moved to the Activity where we have a FB like structure, in which context the liking system is maybe justified to some extent.
And I know I can trust Marty ( or anyone else for that matter) fully to say confidently that he is definitely not involved in this. This sudden surge in points has also happened with Aaron and Ry. And I know that all three of you will not stoop this low to get your egos satisfied. -
aaronLook, I'm very sorry...I know it doesn't matter who has how many likes or whatnot. I know it means nothing. However, back when I would like my own posts...well, when I was called out for doing it--publicly humiliated, I might add--in front of the whole forum, I just felt horrible. Absolutely shameful. And I realized what a huge mistake I'd made. And I'm sorry that I was blaming Martin for his drastic increase in points (because believe me, getting 150 likes overnight is not just some random thing); I didn't realize that it could be someone else doing it for him.
I still think we should get to the bottom of this, and at least tell the person doing it that they need to stop. I know it's not that big a deal, I just feel like it's the right thing to do. I'm sorry I directly targeted you, Martin. And I do feel like the best way to handle this would be to delete the leaderboards altogether, as it causes nothing but strife. Although we should keep the like button. -
