Two papers, Two major projects, then here comes Summer. Finally! Music Festivals, working on Film projects, doing a Mural for the city's education system and bracing myself for shows in Chicago and one in New York. It's gonna be one hell of a ride :) I hope you all have a great Summer :DMay 11

So this is what has become of my hometown and the city I live in HPF...with 5+ more feet of coming in till Monday evening we have been sandbagging, gathering donations and more for people. My hometown has been evacuating and the city I live in now is preparing to receive over 14 feet of water by Monday...I don't get why this doesnt get much coverage on CNN and the like but it's been all over the Weather Channel, I even got to be interviewed so that was surreal. People are being evacuated and many are stuck without...April 20-
RyGuy...electricity, food and running water. This is so surreal and each day so far it's been getting worse. To top it all off right now we are receiving snow and sleet on top of all this water...none of this makes any sense but at least it's bringing people together. Please keep the communities in the Midwest in your thoughts and prayers.

nick_hansenMy whole city went through the exact same thing twice in the past 2 years and it was absolutely devastating and very drastic as well. Seeing so much populated land get flooded and so many things get destroyed where you live is horrible. Hope your house is fine and you're coping, stay safe! -

RyGuyThanks a bunch :D I definitely will be putting it up all over on itunes/amazon/netflix/etc. Ive been doing a lot of research on that all, and also I'll send you guys links to watch it of course :D haha. Thanks for the support gang :D It's going to be a fun random B-movie tribute full of Nazi's, blood, a vampire or two, maybe a werewolf girl, and a Machine Wielding Anne Frank taking revenge on the Nazis for taking Peter Van Frankenstein hostage. It sounds ridiculous and it definitely will be, but at the same time "it" will be a very endearing and touching character the way Ive been writing it and thinking about how to work the camera lol. Thanks for the support gang I really appreciate it and I will update with this as well :)

RyGuyIve seen most of those except for Sand and Fog and Elephant but Imma check them out :D :D. Jeff WHAAA? haha I think its an incredibly important documentary about Art and what it has become...the overlaying message of it is to show how insane Art Collectors, Art Critics, Art followers and civilians trying to go for the next new thing will go. Its incredibly important because it shows the lack of integrity of artists of the present day having assistants building and creating everything and no actual ingenuity or meaning. Art is an incredibly personal thing and it almost always needs meaning unless it is graphic design in most cases. Everything has a moral and message and showcasing how some dumbass wannabe artist chose to rise up the chain...it really shows how society that loves art no longer cares for the works or meanings...a good case in point there is with the woman collecting paintings and just casually pointing and acting as if it is nothing around her. Its an investment now more than a joy of collecting something you love to view. My favorite thought is on the people who view art...the answers to the questions are so thoughtless and meaningless. They are obviously only in line for the free print and most are acting pompous or stupid. Idk I think it's a great critique on the Art world, but I knew going in it was never about Banksy :3

Sir_CadoganYeah, I definitely get how the masses will eat that shit up. It's pretty cynical -- but then again, art/street art is pretty entertaining to onlookers (so can we really blame them?) I hate how it was basically a biography of that french guys life though. The only impression I got from the film is that "if you want to be a successful street artist, just copy what everyone else is doing." lol. I'd disagree about art needing meaning though. There's a ton of shit out there that is just nice to look at. It doesn't have to have this deep philosophical meaning to be good.

Finally done with the semester...I got so much stuff done this semester hahaha time to Hibernate into my one piece pajamas like a hermit haha. Still have much to do, I'm going to be up late working on my new website and a bunch of new business cards. Such a great semester :) Happy Holidays HPF! RyGuyAbhi I had some of this delicious chicken called Murgh Kali-Mirch. There were three kinds of rice I tried out with these bread things that were so so good. I had a bit of lamb that was seasoned. Some cauliflower that was exceptional and some kind of ice cream dish that blew me away. I also had some fried donut type things that were bread and full of peppercorns. It was wonderful and I cannot wait to go back :D Do you have any suggestions for dishes for me to try? LOL Jeff...no comment ;P

@Ry - For me to suggest anything, the first thing that is important is that I match the description of the stuff you ate with the actual stuff itself. :P I kind of get the rough idea as to what you had, so probably by tonight, I might be able to come up with more suggestions for you haha. :)
On another thought, were you OK with the spiciness? That's the main complaint any outsider has with Indian food. :D -

@Abhi Omg I LOVED the spiciness! I had never tasted anything with curry before either and I genuinely loved it. Everything I had was spicy, and in the best way possible. Sorry my descriptions aren't the best haha I tried finding more names of stuff but I just ended up failing but really I would try anything once. :D
