It depends what you want to cover. If you want a time of sorrow and anguish, shock and horror, do the 40s. If you want a time of booming economy, innovations and excitement, the 50s. If you want social unrest and civil rights, do the 60s.
20's...just because it's my favorite lol. Seriously though, I would pick one that you don't know much about but that you have always been the most curious about.
Oh most DEFINITELY the 20's. The roaring 20's, the jazz age, whatever you want to call it. Definitely a time people overlook because right before it, WW1, and right after, WW2 and depression, but this was the time of prosperity. The height of American literature, the jazz age and music, prohibition and the mafia (which I love to read about), and then of course, the final year of the roaring twenties the stock market crashes. and if this the world and not just USA, then you have uprising of nazis and communisum in russia. it's a great decade to write about and one overlooked a lot. dooooo it!
and you can of course include baseball, you have to! greatest players of all time in the 20s in baseball. ty cobb, babe ruth, roger hornsby, walter johnson etcetcetc.
I'd say 40's as it is my favorite time period in the world. However it all depends on how much you know. I highly recommend picking a decade that you havent ever learned much about before. With the 40's you Have WW2, Rise of the Atomic Bomb and what it could do, Nuclear Power, America and Pearl Harbor, the Soviet Union about to reach it's peak, Rise of Nazi Germany, The Holocaust, the Arab-Israeli war, Creation of NATO and The United Nations, Mao Zedong's rise to power, Iceland and Indonesia declare independence, State of Israel created, Republic of China creation, First Digital Computer, The Colossus computer, Commercial Television, Slinky, Microwaves, Quantum Theory, Jackson Pollock, Picasso, Edward Hopper, Piet Mondrian, Casablanca, The Great Dictator with Charlie Chaplin, It's a Wonderful Life, Meet me in St. Louis, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Fantasia, Disney, Ernest Hemingway, Anne Frank, George Orwell, Eisenhower, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Ghandi, Humphrey Bogart, Rita Hayworth, Clark Gable,
Judy Garland, Katharine Hepburn, Duke Ellington, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Hank Williams, Louis Armstrong, Joe Louis, Joe DiMaggio, Howdy Doody, Meet the Press, Ed Sullivan, etc etc haha
Wow. Of course I wasn't talking like that @Aaron. I was saying between the choices, the 40s are the best. That's why I said FTW. I had no intention of offending anyone by posting that.
I still say u do the 20s. It's the most overlooked period. I mean, EVERYONE does the 40s with WW2 or 60s with cold war. 20s were a time of prosperity and fortune. IMO that's more fun to write about
I'm relaxed? We just don't joke about stuff like that in my country and I was just trying to make it clear that it wasn't my intention to make fun of it.
It doesn't buddy. You were actually the spermatozoon that made the race. See your life as a gift, bud. And try to enjoy each day. If it has been upsetting you, make a change and try to get it better :D
When I say poopy I mean it's not at all possible or true. It is extremely smart to sit and think of, but it's not possible. The Pokemon theory made up that's somewhat similar is a lot more realistic, look that up.
