I miss my husband :'( He is currently on his way to Nebraska and won't be back until Tuesday. This is the longest we've been away from each other. The kids aren't handling it well at all. This weekend sucks so bad :'(August 2012

HenrickLiz, Why don't you go do something nice with Gage and Jayden? Maybe you could take them to a Amusement Park, or to the movies. Maybe to have dinner in a nice place. Try this time you have with your kids to enjoy doing something they would like! :D

LizI'm not saying my life is hard (it's not completely easy but I do deal with a lot more than what most people on here know about). I didn't post this to make anyone feel sorry for me. I actually just wanted someone to talk too.

LizIt was really good up until the phone call that my husbands grandma had passed away. So, now he is miserable because his daddy is gone and on his way to Nebraska for 6 days. :(

I think I have some separation anxiety about Gage going off to school. I haven't had the house to myself (during the day, everyday) in about 11 years! I'm so nervous, I think I'm more nervous than Gage. Jayden says that he isn't nervous because he's used to it lol.August 2012

LizWell, this morning I cried but Gage came home all happy and loved his first day. So, that made me feel better about it. Now I just have to get used to being home by myself lol. It's not that easy when your life has been devoted to taking care of kids by yourself all day lol.

LizThank you guys for all the support. My Hubby doesn't understand what I'm feeling about this since he is gone almost everyday. I know it will get better and it does make me feel better than he seems to like it. But, again, thanks!

I don't know where to post it but today is an extremely sad day. My aunt died, her kids found her in her bed. I'm so shocked and at a loss. She didn't even have anything that serious wrong with her and now she is gone. On top of it all, she is my stepmom's best friend (like a sister to her) and they were making plans yesterday to hang out later in the week. My stepmom is beside herself and I don't know what to do to help. No matter how much Psychology training I get, I'm never prepared to deal with this.August 2012

Well, Gage was 100% better until he ended up in the hospital with a possible broken thumb. The ER isn't for sure if it is actually broken so they treated it as if it were and wrapped it in a soft cast. He as an appointment with a specialist to see if it is actually broken and if he needs a cast or not tomorrow morning. He was hurting so bad before he got the pain meds at the hospital. I feel so bad for him. Needless to say, he isn't having a very good week. Not to mention this week is wrecking havoc on my nerves. :'(May 2012

LizHe went to the specialist this morning and the specialist said it isn't broken, thank God! He's doing much better. It still hurts but we have medicine to treat that.

So, I found out today that 3 outta the 4 last names connected to me (though my family line) had/have Scottish clans. I was, of course, over joyed with this information. I've always felt a strong connection to that part of my heritage. Even the sound of bagpipes playing has always given me chills that I couldn't explain. Since I found that out I was asked by this cute little old man to join him in a tradition Scottish dance. I don't think I've had that much fun in a really long time. I absolutely loved it. I have a vid but I doubt I will share it with anyone lmao. Anyway, all in all, my day was amazing!April 2012
