Just noticed during the C.A scene that no one knew the HP2 spell Aragna eximae (or something like that). Instead, they were using stupefy. It's a shame 2nd years know more spells than aurors/deatheaters... :p

Bearing in mind that Harry learned it from boy genius Tom Riddle, and may well have been created by him. Somehow, I don't think Voldemort would have taught the Death Eaters how to dispel spiders. :P
Rock'n Roller Coaster has an awesome launch, Space Mountain has an awesome ride (inside), Big Thunder Mountain is great because it's funny, not too fast and relaxing and there's also Tower of Terror which is one of THE best !!!
Well imagine you're talking and while talking the stairs move, you miss your step and simply fall over... People already die in normal staircases so in a moving one...
No he actualy is a great editor, but for fans, one scene of the movie cut out is a shame. Even if he made some mistakes in OOTP. HBP was pretty good like DH1 and except the Tonks scene, DH2 was great editing.
See, like most fans dont like him for cutting scenes and whatnot but I dont like him in OOTP in some scenes for the angles he chose and the different movements between the shots and characters. I felt he could have used a lot better shots in some scenes. However I feel that he got better as the films progressed and he began to explore more territories haha
I think it was mainly for design. There was an interview on one of the ultimate editions where Alfonso said he wanted to do a darker tone on the movies and he wanted to do silver instead of gold. I shall try and dig it up this afternoon :D

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE WATCHING
This is a fench serie I just discovered. It talks about all the small movie mistakes but also about cameramen who are seen on a shot for exemple.
If you don't understand french, no problem, you can still watch without the sound and understand. Give it a try. They already made lots of movies like Harry Potter 1 and 2, all the indiana Jones, all the Star Wars, Transformers 1 and 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 1...
A Harry Potter VFX talk for all the people who are interested in it. It's about HBP but it only has 40 views so I thought I would correct that by sharing it on here.
Thanks so much for posting this, bud! I'm currently trying to decide in which field of the filmmaking industry I'm going to work. And I'm considering VFX. :D
Good luck :) Visual effects are soo hard to do sometimes... I'm already trying to do a few effects but it often takes a while. Scenes like Courtyard Apocalypse must take years to create !
Do you want to do only animation or also modeling, texturing... ? Animation can be very simple or very hard when you're animating it picture per picture for exemple. You must have a lot of courage to do it :p
I'm still trying to decide. I love texturing. I think it's my favorite field. Modelling is nice, but I guess I don't have enough of a vision to do it. Actually, I haven't decided yet about Post-Production or Animation. Damn!
Each field in Visual effects is hard. It just depends on what you are doing. In DH2 only I can find scenes which are hard for everybody. Hogwarts ; Very hard to model and to texture / the statues : keyframe animation was used to create them so that it looks more "robotic" ... I think texturing is a bit less challenging but also less diversified because you often do the same. To be able to "modle" things on a 3D program you really need to have a good imagination to do as the director says, create it... and animation is pretty hard but needs less creativity than modeling because often you're trying to reproduce real animations.
