I bought two Japanese fighting fish today! With the oh-so-original names of Pudgy, who is blue and kind of, well, pudgy, and Feisty, who is red and was given that name because I swear he was trying to fight me through the bowl. :)April 2012

LizMy son's jumped out of his bowl onto my boobs when I was trying to feed it one day. Sadly he fell to his death...even sadder, it was my son's bday :( -

@Liz Okay...I didn't know they could jump out of the bowl!! I will definitely go put a top on the tank now. Sorry about your sons fish :(
@Ash, they actually are in the same tank! But there is a piece of glass that separates them so that they aren't able to fight.
@Henrick, they aren't dangerous to people really, just more so towards other fighting fish, I think :D -
LizI thought I heard once that the females were the ones that were truly big on fighting eachother.
