At least Goldenberg wouldn't have included lots of filler with Harry and Hermione scenes, letting Neville, Ginny and Luna in the background. Also, it's not his fault that he took care of the longest book which it turned out in the longest movie, but WB decided to take 45 minutes out of it.
I agree that OotP had some massive structural flaws, but Goldenberg did nail a lot of the character development on the head with his script. Like Ry said, Kloves had an odd obsession with Harry/Hermione, he portrayed Ron as a dumb sidekick and Hermione as a femme fatale. And we need not mention his humor...
Hallows part one and two are both exceptionally good at paying attention to background details, adding nods to the fans and referencing the past, but Stafford is right in terms of plot; important plot points weren't explained.
hunger games is great! i love katniss and i hope she chooses gale in the next movie u could see the hurt in his eyes when he was watching katniss and peeta in the cave !! it was so good, i hope the next one is even better :) see you soon Doctor
Damn, there is so much going on behind Voldemort in those shots of DH2 of him after Neville's speech, where he does a shield charm and then disapparating. That's really the only thing I missed in terms of cut stuff
A lady a few rows in front of me on the plane was watching DH2 on her tv screen. She turned it off and watched something else at the Aberforth scene, guess she saw the film for the mediocre tripe it is lol
Why did someone close that old thread about DH someone bumped? Even of it was old, it's just as, If not more interesting than most of the discussions on the first page and it's actually about Harry Potter
