Apparently Bolg could be glimpsed during the Moria flashback. I think they should have expanded on this; show him being injured in battle and then, from where he's wounded, have him witness Thorin killing his father. Later in the film, we can see him again and have his thirst for retribution properly established. Better than Azog's, “Let's wipe out the line of Durin...just, well, just because!”

The CGI was beyond horrible, like seriously.

IN FACT IT WAS SO INCREDIBLE That it fooled your brain into thinking it was real

Then your brain thought....noooo thats not physically possible! That cant be real.

Coupled with the insanley crystal clear imagery and you have fanboys screaming that it looked fake!

It looked amazing....AMAZING

I didn't realize that the HFR caused menstruation

Also, rather disheartening, is that looking at the soundtrack, it seems the first hour of the film will be taken up by the first chapter of the book...

In 48fps even trees blowing looks cool.
