The WB from Italy sad
"there is no indication of when the advertising campaign will begin. But stay tuned because we will soon have the firsts official photos of the film."
I think that's right. It has to be about time that we get something though i hope these first official photos aren't the same ones of Harry in Grimmauld Place or the trio in London after the cafe attack. Give us something amazing. The seven potters or the ministry...and i want some good dialogue.
this news is by my site: http://www.hogwartsite.net/html/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1575&mode=flat&order=0&thold=0 that we posted with oclumencia: http://www.oclumencia.com.br/2010/05/warner-bros-pictures-italia-garante-fotos-de-hp7-em-breve/
I meant in the trailer. Talking about photos made me think about the trailer. I want some good dialogue there. The last dialogue was okay, but really nothing that interesting. I want to hear some of what Xenophilius says to them or what Hermione reads from the book.
I hope that Dobby is not in a lot of scenes. I still don't understand why everyone finds his death so affecting.
Quick question do you know if Phoenix123 and mr9 i think it is are real because if Phoenix is, Hermione should have some good motivational lines that she says to Harry... and is it absolutely certain that Dream Silently was 100% fake... just wondering because of the lack of news on DH!
And with Dream some of what he said became confirmed didnt it? and where the hell is he/she? did they get fired or something, banned off here from the art department that he supposedly worked in?
Yeah. They have said that dobby will be in the film a little bit more. I just hope not too much. I wonder if he will bring them news or something. I just am a little unsure how they are going to fit him in. Everyone keeps suggesting that he may be at the wedding, but that seems random. He may help Harry find Mundungus which i guess i could deal with.
I just don't get how Dobby's death could be the climax of the first film since he is a secondary character of little importance to the story. I didn't really care all that much when he died when i read the book, so i don't particularly get it.
I understand the idea that the climax of the film is Harry's decision to go for horcruxes over hallows though and somewhere around that decision is where most people are suggesting the film will split. The difference between the suggested split points are very little, so it isn't the end all for me.
I still hope it ends about the Snatcher's capturing the trio. I know not many people are fond of the idea of a cliffhanger, but more for non-reading casual moviegoers sake, there needs to be a cliffhanger ending to draw them back to see part 2, otherwise I'm not sure they would have the patience if the film ended and Harry had just decided to go after the Horcruxes, which really puts him back where he was at the start of the film.
But more importantly, I think that would be far too much story to fit into a 2 or 2 and a half hour movie. It might end up feeling too rushed if they try to fit in all the way up to Shell Cottage.
Oh i hope it is as they arrive at Malfoy Manor with Harry seeing Voldemort learn about the wand or actually getting the wand from the tomb as the ending. I actually really dislike after dobby's burial because it is not an important enough moment to split at for me. I think that Harry could learn about the hallows from Xenophilius and have the trio argue about the importance of the horcruxes over hallows right there instead of later in the tent since we know there is no time cut. Then the house will be attacked and they will be chased from it and captured and then taken to Malfoy Manor.
As i have said in the past though, i do not want them to end with the boys trapped in the cellar with Hermione screaming through the floor. No thanks. That is the worst ending that they could think of in my opinion. I agree though, it seems like too much for Part 1 to split after the burial and then that means Part 2 wouldn't play right. There would be no action and then calm with planning before the storm. There would be no moment of resolve before the final battle and that would be a loss for me. Either way i will see both films and i am sure i will enjoy them.
The BEST ending would be when the DE arrive and they take the trio. That way DH2 will begin clips of HP growing through the years until we get to DH HP(all grown Daniel)and we move to a sad HP all chained up.You get what I mean?Like first start with Daniel(Harry)holding the wand and back up to the WB logo then HP in COS and so on till we see the DH name.It will show us how each film has progressed and an epic beginning of the final film.
PS:I think alot about the HP beginnings cause I love em!
I'm not really picky where they put the split, I mean I guess an cliffhanger wouldn't be that bad, as long as its not like VERY cliffhanger like you see Hermione being dragged away, Bellatrix takes out a knife and you hear screaming...that wouldn't be very effective IMO.
Richard, SAME HERE about the HP beginnings. Which one is your favorite?
My favorite has to be POA because its a beginning you dont expect.I expected all the other ones after that.POA was great.Id love it if DH Begins in a different way but not too different, something weve never thought itd begin. You know, like showing clips of Voldemorts or something like that.I dont like it to begin all predictable like if it begins with Snape it isnt much of a surprise.I also like HBP beginning but it couldve been better.
